Have you ever dreamed of playing guitar, or maybe you used to play years ago and want to get back into it? Our Senior Group Guitar Class is designed just for you — a relaxed, encouraging environment where you can learn (or re-learn) the joy of making music with others.

Why Guitar?
The guitar is one of the most versatile and rewarding instruments to play. You can strum along to your favorite songs, accompany your singing, or even write your own music. And unlike what many people think, you don’t need years of experience — you just need the right guidance and a group that makes it fun.
Why Group Classes?
Music is meant to be shared! Group classes offer a sense of community, laughter, and accountability that make learning more enjoyable. In our classes, you’ll:
Learn chords, rhythms, and songs at a comfortable pace
Practice together and support one another
Build finger strength and coordination (great for brain health, too!)
Experience the satisfaction of progress, one note at a time
Designed for Seniors
Our program moves at a steady, easy-to-follow pace — no pressure, no rush. Every lesson balances learning and play. You’ll have plenty of encouragement, small wins, and time to ask questions. Whether you’ve never played before or haven’t picked up your guitar in decades, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Learn
How to tune and care for your guitar
Basic chords and strumming patterns
Simple songs everyone loves to sing
How to read easy chord charts and rhythms
By the end of the session, you’ll be able to play along with others — maybe even perform a tune or two at home for friends and family!
The Benefits Go Beyond Music
Playing guitar engages both sides of the brain, boosts memory, reduces stress, and strengthens hand dexterity. It’s a hobby that keeps your mind sharp and your heart light. And best of all — it’s never too late to start.
